where can yarn be donated in Raleigh?
The Scrap Exhange in Durham is the best place to donate yarn in the area. Otherwise, charities such as Goodwill and Salvation Army accept yarn. You could also check with local schools, pre-schools or senior centers to see if they have a need for yarn.
Where can my husband and I donate cleaning products, protein shakes, meal bars, toiletries and shower products to. We are looking to donate monthly and build a close relationship with the community.

The Ronald McDonald House in Durham or the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina in Raleigh may be accepting donations like those. I suggest calling them to see what they need.
Where can I donate knitted blankets, hats or other knitted items?
Any location that accepts clothing will accept knitted items. Some local options are The Salvation Army or Goodwill.

I would first contact local hospitals and skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers to see if they are accepting dontations.
